Misha Taylor was born and raised in Cape Town to a family steeped in animal conservation and welfare. His father, a successful film director, moved the family to Venice Beach, California, where Misha spent his teenage years. After completing his photography studies, he honed his technique and storytelling abilities in NYC and Paris, eventually settling full-time in Europe. The narratives inherent in his work, combined with his unique mastery of environmental photography, have appealed to clients all over the world, and he continues to be commissioned far and wide for both magazine and advertising clients.

His editorial work has been featured in WSJ, Modern Weekly, Rika, FT How To Spend It, Homme Girls, Favorite, Vogue, Man About Town, GQ Germany, W, Die Zeit, Primary Paper, Sixteen Journal, Exit, and Under the Influence.
