Images from Gemma Booth’s recent shoot of Olympia Campbell were flown to Japan to be featured in the exhibition “Fairground and London market”. Opening reception and presentation of the namesake book scheduled for tomorrow, at Lamp Harajuku, a cutting edge boutique in one of the most creative and stylish neighborhoods of Tokyo. Gemma’s portraits of the young British model shot at her countryside house will dialogue with the pictures of three other photographers, bringing a taste of the London’s sparkling atmosphere to Japan.
Gemma Booth's work often exhibits a puckish world of playfulness...her beauty story for iD holds on to some of the same other worldliness even in studio. Allowing the models the freedom to 'play' with their make up for a unique take on a beauty story.
With spring like temperatures in NYC we were excited to see Gemma Booth's springspirational editorial for L'Officiel Netherlands. Featuring Agnes Nabuurs, a Dutch beauty from the same fertile soil that grows a favored spring flower - tulips, we're sure to see Agnes blossoming all over the runways in the coming show season.
Like a true heroine of the aughts, Margot Tennenbaum has inspired many...including Gemma Booth's new story.
“I think we’re just gonna have to be secretly in love with each other and leave it at that.” ~ Margot Tennenbaum
Gemma Booth got Brit It girl & current face of the Kenzo fragrance "Madly" M-Actress (model-actress) Amber Anderson in front of her camera for a portrait...clearly this is a star on the rise!
Gemma Booth spent a day in Paris with Rolling Stones progeny Ella Rose Richards. Although this shoot channeled more from her maternal side, Richards is also the granddaughter of LouLou de la Falaise, who was the "quitessential Rive Guache haute bohemienne" in her day. And her mother Lucie de la Falaise was also a muse to the designer Saint Laurent. Ella seems to be the perfect combination of her heritage...
Gemma Booth lensed the lastest campaign for the now international British retailer Boden. A fun & flirtly look at FW2012.
